PDR Limits — Important to Know
WHEN PDR WORKS AND
WHEN IT DOES NOT
PDR is appropriate for qualifying dents where the paint is intact, the dent depth allows it, and the panel is accessible. Many hail dents on metal panels meet these criteria.
Dents with cracked or chipped paint, severe depth, sharp body-line location, or inaccessible panels require conventional repair. Dent Force identifies these clearly during assessment.
Some vehicles — particularly those with prior paint work, aluminum-intensive construction, or pre-existing damage — may have reduced PDR scope. Dent Force evaluates each vehicle individually.
